Dawn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She was diagnosed with Stage IV Small Cell Lung Cancer in April of 2018.  Regardless of the grim percentages she was given, she decided she was going to be part of that small 4% they talked about.  Her fight included 61 Chemo treatments and 20 rounds of Radiation, none of which broke her spirit.  That determination she had to stay ahead of this disease allowed her to go on some amazing trips with her husband of almost 47 years, spend more time with her two oldest Grandchildren, become a Grandma two more times, and watch her youngest daugher walk down the isle.  Dawn's quick wit and fun personality remained in tact until the end.  On September 29th, Dawn's fight was finally over.  She is now smiling and watching over all of us with her beautiful angel wings.
